We recently identified an issue in the FTJ Media wallet system that caused some wallet deposits to be credited twice. In certain cases, a single payment made by credit card or another funding method was recorded more than once, which made some wallet balances appear higher than they should have been.
Our team has now fixed the root cause of the issue so it should not happen again. We are also reviewing wallet history and transaction records to remove any duplicate credits that were incorrectly applied. As a result, some users may notice their wallet balance go down when the extra amount is reversed.
This does not mean money is missing from a valid payment. It means the system previously added the same deposit more than once, and we are correcting those balances so wallet histories match the actual payment activity.
We understand this may be confusing, especially if a wallet balance changed after looking correct before. We are taking care to review the records carefully and make only the necessary corrections.
