A) How do I sign up?

B) How do I upload videos?

After you buy FTJ Pro & your email is verified, click the camera icon:

C) How do I create a Meet?

Your name will already be entered if you are logged in, then enable microphone, speaker, & camera access, then Join meeting

To invite others to your Meet, simply send them the URL in the address bar.

You also have the option to have them call into the Meet by phone.

D) How do I schedule a livestream?

In your live dashboard look for the schedule box.

Fill out the info Title Description and pick the date and time you want to go live

Once saved go to the Saved Schedule tab and grab your stream key and url to use for this scheduled broadcast.

You need to use this new stream url and key in order to broadcast with this schedule setup.

You can also add a thumbnail to it by clicking upload poster.


If you are using the Live Meetings system that is built in click on the RTMP URL+ Key option and when you click go live in the meeting replace the existing stream key it has with this one you just copied.

E) How do I get livestream RTMP settings?

By going to https://ftjmedia.com/plugin/Live/ You will see your settings only if you are a approved uploader or streamer. You will not see this option until we approve your account, so reach out to us on Telegram or send us an email to the support team. support@ftjmedia.com

F) How do I restream to other video sites (X, Rumble, Odysee, DLive, YouTube, etc.)?

There is a restream tab built into your live dashboard.

Fill out the info for each destination and click save and once you go live on FTJ, it will also go live to the other platforms.

G) How do I customize my donation messages in chat?

Tip Buttons are customizable. You can set them for each value you want and choose the message it says and emoji it will use

You can customize these buttons in the My Account page here https://ftjmedia.com/user and Click on Donation options

Make a button for each Value you want, like 5 10 15 20 you can make it whatever you want. Do not forget to enable the button by flipping the switch on top.

The bottom line is the message you can alter: EG: {user} Thank you for the donation of {value}

Example Thank you message:  Thank you {user} for your tip of {value}

Make sure to use the {user} and {value} for it to automatically show

H) How do I create a poll in my livestream chat?

Step-by-step:

Click the Actions menu (⋮) at the top-right corner of the chat.

  1. Select Poll Opinions.
  2. You will see a form like this:

  • Poll Question: Type your question.
  • Poll Options: Add at least two answer options.
  • Use drag-and-drop to reorder options if needed.
  • Click + Add Option to insert more choices.
  1. Navigate to the My Polls tab.
  2. Click the green Add to Chat Room button next to the poll.

I) How do audience members call into my livestream?

It is actually quite simple and built in to the Meetings system. All you have to do is click on the Participants button

and click on INVITE

and will see a Telephone number in the invite.

If your guest is out of the country click on More Numbers and will see variety of world wide telephone numbers to call in, some including toll free numbers.

Give your guest the pin and they can join your live meeting by phone. That simple.

J) How do I use my wallet to transfer funds and tip hosts?

Every registered user has a wallet, and in order to use it, funds need to be loaded into it.

To load your wallet, click the green dropdown:

To transfer funds, click the green dropdown:

Select amount to transfer, who to transfer to, type the CAPTCHA, and click Transfer now:

If the chat is not opened, click the image at the bottom right of your screen (the chat default is open).

Hover your mouse pointer over the green box that says Tip using your FTJ wallet and click.

In the Value to donate box type in the number without the dollar symbol ($) you would like to tip.

The message the host will receive with your tip is defaulted to Thank you for your great content!, however, you can replace that with any message you like, then click Confirm Donation.

K) TMP Disabled – How do I redirect my livestream audience to another show after my show ends?

Redirect URL Feature

With the Redirect URL feature, live stream owners can redirect all live viewers to a specified URL.

How to Use:

  1. Open the Live Panel: Inside the live panel, you will find the option to redirect viewers.
  2. Add a URL: You can choose from a list of your available live streams or manually enter a URL, including external sites.
  3. Click the Redirect Viewers Button: Once you set a URL, click the redirect button to send all live viewers to the URL.

Your viewers will receive a message notifying them about the redirection, and then they will be redirected to the specified link.

L) How do I enable lobby mode?

Enable Lobby: This will make it just like how Streamyard does it and will have your guest sit in a backroom until you approve them so others cannot abuse the system.

M) How do I post an article?

You must have a subscription to FTJ Pro to be able to access this feature.

Click the camera icon dropdown menu and select Add Article.

Add your thumbnail and post your text & images to the body field.

Click submit and your article will appear on your channel under a new tab that shows Articles.

N) How do I delete my account?

You can go to your My Account Dashboard here https://ftjmedia.com/user

Look for Subscription History at the top. Once there you will see your subscriptions with the option to cancel.

O) How do I create a playlist?

Click the three dots.

Click + Add to.

A new menu will pop up & you can create a playlist or add to an already existing one by clicking the slider switch.

Refresh your channel page and now you will see a new tab for your playlist at the top.

Click PROGRAM & your playlist will open.

P) How do I add moderators for chat?

Open the triple dot Actions menu in your chat.

Select Moderators and a user list will appear. Just click the slider on the names you want to be moderators.

Q) How do I remove the time lag from livestreams?

The Brave browser is the main culprit. If deleting all temporary files & cookies fails to work, reinstall Brave on your desktop.

Here are concise instructions to clear cache and cookies for Firefox, Chrome, Brave, and Safari on desktop browsers. These steps are based on the latest browser versions as of May 2025.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the menu button (three lines, top-right).
  3. Select Settings > Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
  5. Click Clear Data.
  6. Check Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
  7. Click Clear.
  8. For selective clearing, click Manage Data to remove specific site data.
  9. Restart Firefox for best results.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (top-right).
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy and security.
  4. Click Clear browsing data.
  5. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  6. Choose a time range (e.g., All time for full clear).
  7. Click Clear data.
  8. To clear for specific sites, go to See all site data and permissions under Cookies and site data.
  9. Restart Chrome.

Brave

  1. Open Brave.
  2. Click the menu button (three lines, top-right).
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy and security.
  4. Scroll to Clear browsing data.
  5. Click Clear data or Choose what to clear.
  6. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  7. Select time range (e.g., All time).
  8. Click Clear data.
  9. For specific sites, go to Cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data.
  10. Restart Brave.

Safari

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click History in the menu bar, then Clear History to remove cookies and cache (affects all website data).
    • Choose a time range (e.g., all history).
    • Click Clear History.
  3. For cache only:
    • Click Safari > Preferences > Advanced.
    • Enable Show Develop menu in menu bar.
    • Click Develop > Empty Caches.
  4. For specific cookies:
    • Go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
    • Select sites and click Remove or Remove All.
  5. Quit and relaunch Safari.

Notes
